D-Chiro-Inositol is a substance that occurs naturally in your body and forms part of your daily balance. The capsules are pure, plant-based and free from unnecessary additives. Our production is carefully monitored, with more than 140 quality checks per batch.

What is in it and why?

100% DCI and nothing else. Our DCI comes from the carob tree in Spain, a sustainable and reliable source. Unlike cheaper alternatives, this carob contains no excessive pesticides.

DCI is regularly studied in scientific research in relation to nutrition, lifestyle and human metabolism.

Satisfied with the purchase. Product received as exoected. Good packaging, good dosage. It is rare to find pure DCI with this high dose per serving. It will take time to see the effets, but it's normal.

What is D-Chiro-Inositol (DCI)?

DCI is a substance that occurs naturally in the body and is one of the two best-known forms of inositol. In food it is present only in very small amounts, for example in carob and legumes.

What is the best way to use DCI?

Take DCI about 10 minutes before breakfast. If you take 2 capsules a day, take 1 before breakfast and 1 before dinner. For the best result, use the supplement for at least 8 to 12 weeks.

When can I notice a difference from DCI?

For all supplements, you need to take them for at least 8 to 12 weeks in order to assess the effects properly. Although you can often notice the first subtle changes after 3 or 4 weeks, your body needs time to process the substances optimally and for you to experience an effect.

If necessary, discuss use with your doctor or GP, especially with long-term use and/or when taking medication.

Supplements are intended to complement a healthy and varied diet, not to replace it.

What is the difference between DCI and myo-inositol?

Myo-inositol and DCI are two different forms of inositol that occur naturally in the body. Myo-inositol is more common and is converted into DCI in the body. We offer a 100% DCI product and a 40:1 ratio. Which form suits you best depends on your personal situation.

How much D-chiro-inositol is there per capsule and per day?

Each capsule contains 600 mg D-chiro-inositol. The daily dose is 2 capsules, so 1200 mg per day. If you weigh less than 60 kg, 1 capsule of 600 mg is enough. A pack contains 60 capsules and, at the full dose, lasts 30 days.

How much DCI is that compared with the Inositol 40:1 Complex?

The 40:1 powder contains 78 mg D-chiro-inositol per daily dose of one scoop. These capsules contain 1200 mg per daily dose of 2 capsules, so well over fifteen times as much. The powder also contains 3120 mg myo-inositol and 800 mg L-arginine; these capsules contain no myo-inositol.

Do the DCI capsules contain any excipients or fillers?

No. The capsule contains only D-chiro-inositol and HPMC, the plant-based capsule shell. No filler, no anti-caking agent, no colourings or flavourings. Free from gluten, lactose and animal ingredients.

Where does the D-chiro-inositol come from?

From the pods of the carob tree, grown in Spain. The purity is at least 98 per cent and every batch undergoes more than 140 quality checks.
