Zinc also contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system. Many women use zinc for hormonal fluctuations, skin issues or to support their skin, hair and nails.

What is in it and why?
Zinc methionine is a highly bioavailable form of zinc, bound to the amino acid methionine. It supports skin and hair care, contributes to normal fertility and plays a role in cell division, among other things.
Copper gluconate has been added to maintain the balance with zinc and prevent deficiencies.

Free from gluten, lactose, animal ingredients and synthetic colors or flavorings.

Use

Take 1 capsule daily with a glass of water.

For men: Has your sperm been found to be okay? Then 1 capsule daily with a meal and water is sufficient. Has a doctor found that your sperm is not okay? Then take 2 capsules daily (1 capsule in the morning and 1 in the evening).

Ik word ********* na inname. Neem het in na de maaltijd. Op internet vond ik dat de inname van zink voor ************* kan zorgen. Met tabletten zou ik een halve geprobeerd hebben maar dat kan niet met capsules. Dan was het misschien wel goed gegaan.....

Beste Pascale,
Wat vervelend dat je misselijk wordt van het zink supplement. Een zink supplement geeft bij sommige mensen inderdaad maag- en darmklachten en misselijkheid. Meestal gaat dit vanzelf over, maar ik snap dat het heel vervelend is. Het is vaak te voorkomen door zink tijdens een maaltijd in te nemen, maar ik begrijp dat je dit al doet.
Wat je kan doen is 1 dag geen zink supplement nemen en kijken of de reactie echt door zink wordt uitgelokt, het kan dat je overgevoelig bent. Meestal treedt misselijkheid pas op bij hogere doseringen, maar hou dit even in de gaten.
Verder kun je zink in de avond innemen, na de grootste maaltijd van de dag. Dan is je maag meer gevuld dan bij het ontbijt en de lunch. Zink heeft een positief effect op de nachtrust net als magnesium, dus wellicht is dit een optie voor je. Een andere optie is om de capsule wel open te maken en ongeveer de helft in te nemen en een dag later de andere helft.

Per capsule: 15 mg of zinc as zinc methionine, providing 150 percent of the reference intake, and 1.5 mg of copper as copper gluconate, also providing 150 percent. The daily dose is 1 capsule. Each pack contains 60 capsules and is therefore sufficient for 60 days.

What form of zinc do you use?

Zinc methionine, in which the zinc is bound to the amino acid methionine. This is a different form from the zinc oxide found in many much cheaper supplements. You can identify the form on the label by the name following the mineral.

Can I combine zinc with HairFormula Complex or BroccoBalance?

Then add up the amounts. HairFormula contains 10 mg of zinc per daily dose, BroccoBalance 3 mg. With this supplement, you reach 25 mg and 18 mg respectively. The EFSA's acceptable upper limit for adults is 25 mg of zinc per day.

Does Zinc Essential Mineral contain fillers?

Yes, a limited number: rice flour as a filler, and MCT oil and rice fiber as anti-caking agents, in addition to the HPMC capsule shell. Free from gluten, lactose, animal-derived ingredients, and artificial colors or flavors.
